That's why choose a sustainable lifestyle

Your choices are of immense value!

Surely, if you're reading this article, something inside you is pushing you to a more sustainable lifestyle. Too many times going to the supermarket, we choose disposable products just for their convenience.

These disposable, non-green items are made and packaged with low cost synthetic materials, so they can offer us a cheaper solution in the short term. Unfortunately, this is one of the reasons why our beloved land is afflicted by a huge plastic waste pollution problem.

It would be important to go into this in more detail, thinking that convenience does not give quality. If we focus on the long-term cost-effectiveness of the product, we will find that using eco-friendly and reusable items will help our planet but also help our wallet in the long term!

In many stores such as e-grin, the cost of a product includes the overhead costs associated with the manufacture and production of the item and also includes the physical delivery of the product.

Most conventional household items are made of synthetic, non-biodegradable materials and developed for single use or limited in time, which makes them relatively inexpensive to produce, while eco-friendly products are typically well designed, with biodegradable or compostable materials.
Initially we will think we paid a little less by buying disposable products, but inevitably we will end up paying a lot more because in the future it will be necessary to replace them many times over.

By choosing well made and sustainable items, designed to be reused several times, you will notice a great saving in the long term, because you won't have to replace them as often as you do now.

We will probably pay less for a disposable product right now, but it will need to be replaced many times over the course of a year, instead of paying a little extra for items that will last for years and years, or even forever!

From a financial point of view, the purchase of sustainable products may seem more expensive in the immediate future, but the initial savings will certainly be wiped out in the near future.

The advice, if the budget allows it, is to spend a little extra on green alternatives, because it is certainly worth opting for zero waste, reusable and made to last. An important reflection to make to us concerns the motivation, what pushes us to evaluate the possibility of living in a sustainable way.

We do it to save money, for our health, for our future and that of our children, for our planet. At that point when we will be conscious of why change is really right and what are really the important things not to give up, we will no longer look for excuses (prices too high for me, I do not feel it for now, so nothing will change), but we will act, making ecological decisions that will be invaluable.
